A disco-ball and crystal specimen all in one! Crystal upon crystal has formed together to form this amazing Aragonite specimen from Morocco. Earthy reds and oranges can be seen throughout along with hundreds of sparkling crystal faces dancing in the light. While Aragonite has an orthorhombic crystal structure, repeated crystal twinning (as seen here) makes the crystals appear almost hexagonal which is often referred to as "Star" Aragonite. Let the dance party begin!
