An explosion of golden yellow Calcite crystals and dark brown Aragonite crystals in this lovely concretion from Utah. The more angular cracks and cavity separations are called "septaria". The front of the piece has been cut and polished to a high gloss finish. The sides and back have been left in their natural state. Extra bonus: When exposed to a UV flashlight, this piece fluoresces (see photos for details)!
