A lovely purple crystalline flower of Amethyst from Brazil. This unique formation sometimes called an Amethyst Stalactite or Stalactitic Amethyst is actually a cross-section cut from an Amethyst crystal cluster.
Amethyst crystals can be seen radiating from a centralized growth in a flower-like pattern. Crisp crystal points surround the inner layer of Quartz, Chalcedony and Agate banding. The slice / cross-section has been cut from the crystal cluster and polished to a high gloss finish both front and back. The sides have been left in their raw and natural state, displaying the lovely Amethyst crystal points. Internal rainbow colorations can also be seen within some of the crystals.
These slices look beautiful both on display, or when used in jewelry making to fashion into pendants, necklaces, brooches, or bracelets.
