A stunning Spinosaurus dinosaur tooth fossil from Morocco. This is an authentic tooth in excellent condition! Spinosaurus, meaning "spine lizard" is an extinct dinosaur that lived during the Cretaceous period approximately 100 million years ago. It was one of the largest carnivorous dinosaurs, even larger than T. Rex! The namesake spines formed a sail-like or hump structure on the Spinosaurus' back. Teeth of the Spinosaurus were relatively straight, conical and lacked serrations. It is estimated that the Spinosaurus was approx. 41 to 47 feet long.
