An incredible crystal combination of vibrant blue Fluorite crystals atop a base of milky white Quartz. While it may look like a group of crystallized blueberries, this is an unusual formation of blue Fluorite crystals from the Huanggang Deposit of Inner Mongolia, China. The Fluorite crystals exhibit an unusual rhombododecahedron or dodecahedron beveling with deep hoppering and smoothed faces that make them look like blueberries!
The unique hue of Fluorite appears to change color under different lighting conditions, transitioning from royal blue, to navy blue, to indigo blue, to an almost teal blue depending on the light. This creates an incredible contrast atop the bright white Quartz crystal points hiding underneath. When the specimen is inverted, you can see the hexagonal cross-section of a large primary Quartz crystal.
Approx: 3" H x 2" W x 1.5" D
