Hundreds of lavender purple Amethyst crystals clustered together on this gorgeous plate from Brazil. This formation is sometimes referred to as an Amethyst "flower", where the crystals are concentrated in a such a way it almost looks like flower petals! This piece has a very unique addition in the form of white Anhydrite crystals which inter-grew with the Amethyst crystals at the top. Typically you see Calcite crystals with Amethyst, so the Anhydrite is a special addition to the mineral mix!
