A "snowball" of Barite crystals sits atop a sparkly snowfield of Quartz crystals on this beautiful crystal combination from the Cumberland Mine in Smith County, Tennessee. High-grade ruby red Sphalerite crystals can be seen sprinkled throughout this lovely mineral specimen. The Cumberland Mine is located within the same geologic zone as the equally famous Elmwood Mine down the road. This specimen displays beautifully front and back, allowing for 360 degree views of minerals.
